I'm probably going to mount the first one on tea-stained bristol or watercolor paper. I want to try doing some more detailing, staining the tips of the branches red and drawing in her eyes. I've been thinking about using contrasting red paper silhouettes as bloodstains. The piece refers to a pretty gory play; might as well embrace the carnage.
I've already cut out the second silhouette, and I'm not sure how I'm going to mount that one. I wanted to do something more colorful. So far everything I've done has been really muted and neutral, which is cool, but something about the rainy weather has me craving something brighter.
I'm excited! What will you do with them??
